A Heritage of Compassion Continues.

For over 75 years, Schrader Funeral Home has been synonymous with providing personalized, affordable funeral and cremation services to the Cheyenne and surrounding communities.  We are pleased to announce that local funeral directors, Alex Aragon and Jeffrey Jacoby, will continue this tradition as the new owners of Schrader Funeral Home and Mountain View Park Cemetery.

A native of Cheyenne, Alex has been employed with Schrader Funeral Home since 1983, serving as its Managing Funeral Director since 2000.  Jeff Jacoby began his career in funeral service with Schrader Funeral Home more than 15 years ago as an apprentice and later as a licensed embalmer and funeral director.  He and his wife, Wendy (Rabou), recently returned to Cheyenne with their family to complete the purchase the Schrader Funeral Home following the sale of their funeral home in New Hampshire.  Both Alex and Jeff feel extremely honored to carry on the work of former owners, Don and Bev Schrader, and wish the couple the best as they begin their long-awaited retirement. 

In keeping with our legacy of excellence, the families of Laramie County can expect new and enhanced service options, such as an on-site reception area for families to use following a funeral or memorial service and the introduction memorial videos and funeral webcast services.  Area families can also be reassured that the change of ownership does not affect their pre-arranged funeral plans, nor the maintenance and upkeep of Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery.
