Schrader Funeral Home traces its origins to Wesley A. Schrader who in 1924 purchased an existing funeral home. In 1924, it officially became the Schrader Funeral Home.
In 1955, the Schrader Funeral Home was invited to join the membership of the National Selected Morticians, now known as Select Independent Funeral Homes, the nation's leading funeral service organization.
Wesley’s son, Marvin and his wife Lorene purchased the funeral home in 1950’s, then in 1989 Don and Bev Schrader assumed ownership.
In 2010, Don and Bev retired and sold the funeral home to local funeral directors, Alex Aragon and Jeffrey Jacoby, who continue the Schrader tradition of compassionate and affordable funeral and cremation services.
